Supreme Court ordered NTA to extend the last date for the NEET UG registrationsNTA may extend the last date of registration for the NEET UG application as it has been asked to do so by the Supreme Court. The directive came after the Supreme Court’s decision in which it allowed for the candidates above 25 years of age to apply for the NEET 2019 exam. Earlier, the last date of the application process was November 30, 2018. The applications are accepted in online mode only and the official website of the NTA to apply for the NEET 2019 exam is ntaneet.nic.in. The Supreme Court ordered the NTA to extend the registration deadline in order to accommodate all the students who were earlier unable to register for the exam because of the upper age criteria. As of now, the court has asked the NTA to accept the registration form of all such candidates, however; their candidature will subject to the final outcome of the court’s decision after hearing the CBSE’s reason to fix the upper age limit. The NEET UG 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2019, and will be conducted in offline mode on the OMR sheet. The exam is objective in nature and will have 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The results for the same are scheduled to be declared on June 5, 2019. source https://www.brainbuxa.com/education-news/supreme-court-ordered-nta-to-extend-the-last-date-for-the-neet-ug-registrations-8892
